Sesshy and Zade - colored

This took me forever to actually finished... it's been sitting around being mostly finished for a long time and then I just sort of just tinkered with it a little bit and decided I was done. There's more I could do to it but I want it to be done so it is.

I wrote this short story to go with it though. >u> Because I was bored.


“It’s such a beautiful day.” Sesshy thought to herself as she reached up to move her hair out of her face. The gentle breeze caressed her form as she turned to move around the tree obstructing her view of the near-by floating mountain. As she moved to see around the tree she failed to notice the stairs; for a split second it felt like her heart and stomach were trying to escape. As she calmed herself she suddenly realized she hadn’t hit the ground. Instead someone was holding her. She looked up to see who her rescuer was and found herself staring up at Zade. He looked down at her but his expression was gentle and a bit concerned. Sesshy felt her heart leap up into her throat and quickly pulled herself up-right and away from Zade.
“Are you alright?” Zade asked while she tried to regain her composure. Blushing, Sesshy nodded but found she couldn’t look him in the eye. Instead she opted to look at the mountain she had initially been trying to see. “That’s Mount Trantin.” Zade told her, following her line of sight.
“It’s so beautiful.” She replied, “I wonder what we look like from there.” Her expression changed from one of embarrassment to one of wonder. Zade observed her in this rare moment of stillness and decided she was quite beautiful. He had never denied her beauty but this is quite a different kind of beauty that she rarely exhibits. He felt privileged to witness this.
“One day your wings might take you there.” He said as he turned from her and continued down the path. Sesshy smiled and turned her head to watch him leave. His elegant movements and deliberate steps learned and developed from a life of nobility.
“I hope not.” She said under her breath. “Because if that were to happen. I’d never see you again.” She returned her attention to the mountain briefly, once he was out of sight, before continuing down her own path.
